Wednesday à la carte lunch
Time: 12noon–2pm. Last service available at 1.30pm.
Dates: Wednesdays 24 February – 31 March 2021; 21 April – 23 June 2021 (term days).
Menu: Ever-changing variety of dishes based around seasonal produce, priced from $5 to $10.
No bookings required
Time: From 5.30pm. Last booking available at 7pm.
Dates: Wednesdays 5 May – 23 June 2021 (term days).
Thank you for choosing VenU Restaurant. As this is a student-run training restaurant we take bookings for dinner service from 5.30pm with the last booking time available at 7pm.
Dinner services will be prepared and served by students. We appreciate your understanding that we will require all patrons to vacate the restaurant by 9.30pm.
Thursday cafe day with Western Futures students
Dates: Thursdays 25 February – 1 April 2021; 22 April – 24 June 2021 (term days).
Menu: Selection of burgers, fish & chips, vegetarian items, pizza of the day and freshly baked muffins.
VenU is an industry-standard facility providing a simulated work environment for hospitality students to refine their skills under the guidance of our expert teachers. The licensed restaurant features:
- a main dining room that seats 100 guests
- a function space for 50 guests
- à la carte, café and bistro dining
- menus featuring seasonal and local produce
- a selection of local wines and craft beers.
In the past, VenU has been awarded Best Training Restaurant at the Restaurant and Catering Victoria Excellence Awards.
