The 2022 Program
In 2022 the VCAL program will apply the STRIPES model, which focuses on strengths-based, trauma informed practice such as restorative justice and positive education strategies.
VU Polytechnic’s focus is the support our students to become STRONG: Strengths-focused, Teachable, Resilient, Optimistic, Nurturing and Grateful while recognising that they are all unique. This has been embedded into the timetable through workshops or presentations run by VU Well-being, VU Polytechnic support staff, VU Careers as well as industry guest speakers.
