Manufacturing & Engineering

To keep the VU Polytechnic community safe, and to play our part in containing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made changes to how we deliver our courses. Most VU Polytechnic students will have access to supported remote learning from April, meaning you can continue to study the same high-quality program from home.

Launch your career in the manufacturing and engineering industry with courses at Victoria University Polytechnic. Our courses provide you with the skills you need to start your career. You’ll gain strong practical and theoretical knowledge to ensure you are work ready. Our courses combine classroom studies, industry projects, site visits and industry simulation.

You’ll learn in our $44 million state-of-the-art facilities at our Sunshine Campus. This sustainable training facility has a six-star green rating and provides modern high-tech labs and dynamic workshops spaces.

You’ll learn from teachers who have valuable industry contacts and the latest industry-standard skills. You’ll also develop links with industry and professional experience. Doing your course with VU Polytechnic means you’ll get the hands-on learning to be job-ready when you graduate.

Jacinta's success story

“The best thing about VU Polytechnic is the quality of teaching. The teachers are all very happy to help you out and enjoy sharing their knowledge.

"Since most have been out in the industry in which they teach, they have a better understanding of what is expected out in the field which is very helpful to students.”
