Learning at VU Polytechnic - Meredith's journey

VU Polytechnic's focus on developing skills that get students work-ready has helped legal student Meredith gain a placement in the workplace.

To keep the VU Polytechnic community safe, and to play our part in containing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made changes to how we deliver our courses. Most VU Polytechnic students will have access to supported remote learning from April 2020, meaning you can continue to study the same high-quality program from home.

Whether you are interested in accounting, human resources, logistics or the legal sector, our industry-current certificates and diplomas will propel you towards your next career goal.

If you want to become a practising lawyer or a legal paraprofessional, we can equip you with the necessary skills to get there. You will learn how to provide advice on legal services, manage legal practice operation resources and interpret relevant legislation.

Our business and management programs give you a focused understanding of today’s business world and prepare you for a future in cross-industry roles. If you are looking to start out in the accounting sector, our courses prepare you for bookkeeping roles and provide pathways into bachelor degrees.

Our Training and Assessment program will help you develop the skills and knowledge required to perform the role of a trainer, facilitator or assessor in the workplace and in Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
