National CGE Modelling Workshop

The Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU, and the VU Centre of Policy Studies are hosting the National Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Modelling Workshop at the Weston Theatre in the Crawford School of Public Policy.

The National CGE Workshop is an annual event that provides a forum for CGE modellers to exhibit and discuss their work. This year the workshop will be 1 or 2 days, to be decided, depending on the number of presentations.

Submitting abstracts & presentations

To submit an abstract for consideration, please let us know that you wish to give a presentation.

We will email you asking you to send your abstract. If your abstract is accepted then we ask that you submit your full paper or presentation by the deadline given below.

Presentations are usually allocated 15-20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions. A presentation based on either completed paper or work-in-progress is acceptable.

Dates & Deadlines

• Friday 12 July - Deadline for Abstract submission for presentations
• Friday 26 July - Notice of abstract review sent out
• Monday 5 August - Preliminary program published
• Monday 2 September - Deadline for full paper submission for presentations.

Program & venue

The program will be 1 or 2 days, depending on the number of presentations.

Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided.

We are organising an informal dinner to follow the event at attendees' expense. Details will be announced later.

Taxi 
A taxi from Canberra Airport to ANU is normally about 25$.

Paid parking is available on campus or close by at the National Museum of Australia.
